Needs attorney review before public launch

Privacy placeholder

This MVP privacy page describes the intended data practices for testing. It must be reviewed by a lawyer before public launch.

Job seeker data may include account email, profile fields, resume PDF metadata, extracted resume text, visibility settings, and contact request history.

Recruiter data may include account email, company details, work contact details, verification status, search logs, profile view logs, and contact requests.

Resume PDFs are stored privately when durable object storage is configured. Search results do not expose candidate email, phone, or public PDF URLs.

Candidates can pause search visibility and request deletion. Abuse reporting, privacy questions, and deletion requests should use the platform contact address before launch.

Newsletter signups may store an email address, optional first name, signup source, article slug where applicable, and limited UTM or referrer fields attached to that signup. Research inquiries may store contact details, organization, inquiry type, message, and the same limited source-attribution fields. Federal Hiring Data does not send newsletters until email delivery is configured.

Public article pages may store lightweight first-party events such as article views, share clicks, newsletter conversions, and research inquiry conversions. These events are used to understand content performance and are not intended to create invasive browsing profiles.

Public content pages may use third-party advertising vendors, including Google. These vendors may use cookies to serve ads, and Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads based on prior visits to this site or other sites. Users can manage ad personalization through Google Ad Settings and review Google's advertising and privacy information at Google Advertising Policies.
